Tank Level Communicator (TLC) and Tank Level Detector (TLD)
The Tank Level Monitoring System system is specifically designed for use with Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST). It it is made up of two parts and is one of the most cost-effective units for bulk inventory control on the market today. It lets you monitor and track fuel levels and deliveries from the convenience of a desktop workstation. The Aboveground Storage Tanks are fitted with a Tank Level Detector (TLD). The TLD supports a transmitter that is linked via Radio Frequency (RF) communications, to a Tank Level Communicator (TLC)device. The TLC device is a wall-mounted unit designed to work as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with an existing Trak Fuel Management System. One (1) TLC has the capability to control up to four (4) TLDs. Specific TLDs are made for diesel and unleaded fuel. Because there is no conduit or special electrical wiring needed for installation, factory installation is not required. Simply take the TLD and replace the cap of one of the ports on the tank, then mount the TLC within 200 feet of the tank. The Tank Level Communicator comes with customized software for reporting levels and deliveries, along with high and low limit alarms. The TLC can also interface with existing Fuel Management Software allowing users the ability to schedule reports and poll via a standard grade phone line.
